Membership Development
Last year we sent one member of Gannon University SPSEA to State Conference! Lauren enjoyed her time there, and was able to use her valuable experience to bring SPSEA knowledge to our chapter. She was also able to connect with members of other chapters, and learn information from them!
Her experience helped us to grow as a chapter, and encouraged others to follow in their footsteps. This year, Gannon SPSEA is sending two members to the 2017 State Conference. Annie and Brad are excited for the many learning opportunities to come.
On November 19, 2016 we sent two of our members to the Rock Solid Conference at Slippery Rock University. At Slippery Rock, Annie and Brad participated in different breakout sessions, and were able to network with other local chapters of SPSEA.
The knowledge that they gained at the conference was beneficial to our chapter. Annie and Brad brought back information on teacher contracts, advice for student teachers, how to diversify your classroom, and more. It is always great to have our members participate in events with other chapters and meet new people!
