Annie Hatton              President

My name is Annie Hatton and I am a Middle Level Math and Language Arts Education major at Gannon University.  I am from Erie, Pennsylvania.  My favorite part of being in SPSEA is the abundance of professional development opporuntities offered to us.  Some of these events include local PSEA speakers, the Regional Conference, and mock interviews with current principals.  All of these activities have helped me grow as a student and as a future educator.

In my spare time I enjoy skiing and spending time with my family.

Karen Weibel       Treasurer

I am a senior Middle Level Education (Math and Science) major at Gannon University.

My favorite part of being in SPSEA is Dr. Seuss Night. It is a great way to get children involved with reading and literacy activities.  I also enjoy planning and creating the themed stations. Finally, I enjoy the sense of community we have created in SPSEA. Our members are a tight-knit group of individuals dedicated to working together to serve others and build our futures.

In my spare time, I enjoy dancing and spending time with family.

Gannon. I am from Erie, Pennsylvania. What I appreciate about SPSEA is the opportunities to grow professionally. I have enjoyed conferences and other professional development as well as putting on great events around the community. I was raised in a family of educators and being in SPSEA helps to allow me to carry on that tradition. I am also a member of Gannon's Wrestling team.

   Paul Sitzler                Secretary

I am a junior Middle Level Education (Social Studies and Science) major at Gannon University.  I was originally born in Virginia, however, I spent most of my life right here in Erie, Pennsylvania. My favorite part of being in SPSEA is having the opportunity to learn and grow professionally through attending conferences and listening to guest speakers. SPSEA helps me feel as though I am a part of something great and provides a plethora of opportunities for me to become the best future educator I can be. In my spare time, I enjoy biking, spending time with friends, and reading comics.
